I run my own software company called Swirrl. Our current project is PublishMyData, a Linked Data publishing platform. I am a founding member of OpenDataManchester, a Manchester-based organisation which works to open data for the benefit of the local area.

Freelance web development

I’m available for hire as a freelance software developer. I focus on Ruby, Rails, JavaScript (including Node.js) and Databases (including NoSQL).

I’m too busy with Swirrl & PublishMyData to take on freelance work at the moment!

Blogging

I’m a fairly active blogger. As well as my personal blog on this site, I founded the popular JavaScript blog DailyJS in 2009, and more recently, LearnLinkedData. I’ve also previously written for other successful blogs including RubyInside.

Training

I deliver training courses on Ruby, Rails, RDF, Linked Data and the Semantic Web (usually not all at once!).
